And now we are home
Ah, flying across the country with 2 kids under the age of 3. That’s all I’m going to say about that.
So it’s great to be back and the whole experience was worth the gargantuan effort and expense. Now I can go back into my studio with the knowledge that my new work won’t be piling up in storage!
It’s late but I have to write one little anecdote from the show before I forget. A man came by and saw the beaver portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. He told me this story:
I used to be a bell man at the Lord Beaverbrook Hotel and the Queen came and stayed while I worked there. She had staff assigned to her and though it was a big no no, one of them let me into her suite so that I could have a look. We looked into the Royal Powder Room, and I swear to god, the toilet seat was lined… in MINK FUR.
Isn’t that awesome??
Awesome is for sure glad it went so well are you home now talk to you soon
